"Accommodation in… Carrara " is located at the foot of the Apuan Alps in the historic area formerly known as Canalie.  

Set among green hills, it’s under 2 km from the old centre of the town of Carrara, near the small villages of Miseglia and Bedizzano. Further up the hill and just a short car ride away are the village of Colonnata and the famous marble quarries. 

Accommodation in.. overlooks the road which for many years has been used for transporting huge blocks of marble downhill to the sea. A nearby studio, Arco Arte, has an exhibition area where visitors can appreciate a collection of works in marble

(visits on foot to the marble villages and quarries are also possible).
